Day by day in Sapa

  1. Day 1 · arrival

Arrive by limousine van mid-afternoon. Walk the town, confirm tomorrow’s trek with your guide, eat early.

  2. Day 2

Full-day trek through the valley villages with a local guide (Sapa Sisters or Sapa O’Chau), ending at a family homestay.

  3. Day 3

Second trek day out of the homestay, back to town by afternoon. Rest your legs.

  4. Day 4

Spare mountain day: a shorter walk, Fansipan if the cloud lifts, or simply sit with the view.

Staying longer? Slack day — cover for rain or a late bus, a second visit to a favourite, or nothing at all. Itineraries without one are the ones that fail.
